World Book Day with Nursery & P.7
Nursery celebrated World Book Day by sharing their favourite books with the class. The P.7 children joined nursery and read the nursery children's favourite books to them. It was a lovely morning to have the youngest and oldest members of our school reading together.
We also explored the story of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea.' We enjoyed a tea party snack and were all relieved a real Tiger didn't come to eat all the buns on the plate.
Nursery finished their day with a tour of the "Big School." The first person to meet us was Mrs. Morgan. We then walked around the corridors looking at all the wonderful decorations on the classroom doors. We even got to see the Primary One Classroom and said Hello to the P.1 teacher Mrs. Burns.
Nursery had a lovely day on World Book Day and we look forward to exploring more books throughout the term.
