Primary 2 had great fun today sharing their favourite book, and dressing up as a character from a book. We started the morning with some fun games to develop our reading skills and also our speaking and listening. We had the opportunity to make our own book marks and complete a word search.
Before break we took part in the World Book Day Parade. We showed our costumes to Nursery and Primary 3.
After break we wrote about our costume and why we chose it. Mrs. Gribben was the quiz master in a World Book Day quiz where we had to guess the character from different fairytales. She gave us 3 clues and we had to guess who she was talking about. It was very tricky. We finished our day with P.6 coming to visit, they read our favourite book to us.
Lots of excitement for everyone! Each child should have a WBD token home with them also.
