Were Primary One busy at home this week?
Mrs. Burns had suggested they explored the African country Madagascar, learned two new sounds and completed adding with pictures. They fulfilled these and so much more!
There were children making paper chains using the colours of the flag, dressing in traditional dress and creating housing; locating Madagascar on a jigsaw and some eating with spoons for every meal!
Others were busy ants at their written work, ordering numbers, counting how many objects altogether, writing sentences, consolidating sounds or reading for their teacher.
There were very kind and caring children, writing letters and making cards for those who may be lonely, creating rainbows for our hard-working NHS staff and budding artists who had craft materials on the table all day long!
Finally there were those children who developed life-long skills of riding a bike without stabilisers, building outside, cutting and collecting wood, baking in the kitchen, singing and playing an instrument.
Such a wide range of activities since Monday. Thank you so much to our parents who provided all these opportunities and what lucky adults we are to have such a talented bunch!
Please continue to keep in touch by connecting to Our ClassDojo.
