We have played and worked so hard since returning to school!
It’s almost time for a break again and Primary one children and staff will be delighted! Since we have returned, we have had many bookings in the “Monteith Makeover” lockdown hairdressers (for our bubble only), scanned the expecting animals in the outdoor farm and much more. We have been busy learning about the season of Spring, what happens on the farm and more of our initial sounds. This has given us confidence to read and spell words using the sounds we know and recognise numbers as words. In Numeracy, we are gaining progress in adding to 10 and are super at positional words, explaining where an object is in relation to another. The highlight of our return was the surprise ice-cream van, where we screamed with excitement as soon as we heard the music! We are looking forward to our walk and egg hunt next week too!
