The children have been enjoying the change in the days. The blue sky and the sun shining makes it much easier to get outdoors. In class we have been chatting a lot about the spring and the changes it brings. The boys and girls have been learning so much through their outdoor play. The have been:
- den making
- working on balance and co-ordination
- Developing small world play
- filling, emptying and digging in the sand shed
- jumping
- Working on throwing and catching skills
- playing together in pairs or small groups
- exploring new friendships
- painting
- investigating natural materials
- washing and scrubbing using cloths, sponges and brushes
- looking after our flower bed
- role playing
- pedalling
- sharing
