Just look at the fun we had in the sun this week exploring symmetry in our school grounds. The pupils worked together to find shapes that had 1,2 or more lines of symmetry. They were asked to use metre sticks to show us where the lines of symmetry might be. Sometimes we had to put the metre stick various ways across the object to check was it symmetrical and how many lines of symmetry it had. The pupils had to call an adult when they found one and some took their own photos. Let’s hope the sunshine continues!
