🌟🦸♀️Superheroes and Superstars in Primary 2 🦸♀️🌟
It was our turn for assembly this week and it was all about superheroes. We know Batman, Spider-Man and many other superheroes wear masks, capes and use their powers to help those in danger. However, being a superhero doesn’t require special powers, it simply means to be brave, kind and always try to do the right thing. Primary 2 thought of their special talents and how they could help others. They painted their own superheroes for display and we used these beautiful paintings to make headbands too. We then started to learn the song, “My Own Superhero” by Shawna Edwards which was a global effort to build resilience and hope in children everywhere. The children know that when things are difficult, they can ‘move, rise, choose and try to be my own superhero.’ We were extremely proud of their assembly and hope you enjoy meeting the superheroes of P2!
