Spring has certainly arrived in Primary 1
The boys and girls have been busy enjoying the arrival of Spring during their play. Twins need to be cared for in the home-corner and much Spring cleaning is required for the visitors to arrive to see the babies. Others have been looking closely at daffodils and using paint and recycled materials to make some of their own or collaging tissue paper to make cherry blossom trees. The water tray is full of socks to be washed and pegged on the line to dry and many have gained confidence in writing sentences of their own using a Spring word mat. The children know that foals and lambs are born and have made stables using Lego. Hopefully the Spring showers will soon pass and allow more sun and outdoor play!
