Science Week at Stormont Buildings
14th Mar 2019
P6 were one of 12 lucky classes across the north to be invited to Stormont to celebrate Science Week with the Geological Association of N Ireland. The science festival focused on the extremely diverse geology and landscape in Ireland and gave pupils the opportunity to learn about how rocks are formed through a series of interactive workshops.
Our boys and girls had the chance to become a real seismologist and had a go making their own toothpaste, find out about hidden water in Ulster and gained an insight into volcanoes. Thank you Miss McKay & Mrs Loy for organising.
