Last week we completed a range of science experiments which involved lots of observing and exploration.
We looked at the effects soap had on pepper in water to show the need for it when washing our hands.
We observed the effect of warm water around skittles exploring diffusion.
We investigated if water could move upwards from one cup into another through a piece of paper towel defying gravity.
We measured a jelly baby and then put some in plain water and some in salt water. We left them overnight and then observed the changes the next day.
The engagement of all pupils was superb. Lots of fun was had by all and the amount of discussion, prediction, exploration and evaluation witnessed in our class was invaluable. Well done all! 👏
