School Bags
School Bags/Lunch Boxes/Water Bottles – Mon 21st of September
Following consultation with EA and PHA children can bring in school bags from Monday 21st.
"With regard to school bags, our advice is that if these items are sanitised, the risk is minimal. Parents will need to be reminded that they have a responsibility to ensure that items are cleaned regularly. On that basis and given that the schoolbag and its contents , lunch box and water bottle etc are personal to the children and not shared with other children within the bubble then we think that it is reasonable that they should be permitted." EA/PHA
School bags should be sanitised in the morning before the children come into school. These can then go home in the afternoon. On returning home these should once again be sanitised. Having watched over the last few weeks as children juggle boxes and bottles up the school lane, and with homework folders/reading books soon on the horizon, this is a positive development.
Thank you once again for your patience and support.
