Progress Through Partnership
Our St. Colman’s Primary School values and ethos remain unchanged, and children are expected to aim to uphold them. ๐ We know already that they will be Ready, Respectful, prepared to be Safe this year.
In addition to our regular school rules children must be aware of the new requirements in namely that they must:
• Use their own specific equipment (including resources) and not share any of these; this won’t promote selfish behaviours. Rather we will use it to once again develop a growth mindset. Children will realise that by following rules, keeping themselves safe - they will in turn keep others safe. They will see how we are all inter-connected and that we ALL have a part to play.
• Work, eat and play in our designated group, and minimise contact with children from other groups
• Move around school as instructed by our teacher/assistant and avoiding other people
• Never cough, sneeze or spit towards another person; catch all coughs and sneezes in a tissue and throw it away (catch it, bin it, kill it), then wash our hands
• Wash hands frequently (including whenever we are asked to), with soap and water for 20 seconds (e.g. by singing happy birthday twice) or with hand sanitiser if soap and water are not available.
Girls and Boys - you have got this!!
