Primary 2 had a wonderful morning in the F.E MC William Gallery participating in activities based around their current exhibition 'Tada!' This is a touring exhibition for children by children and is free for all to enjoy. The children made pictures of interest to them, exploring the media of collage, chalks and stamping. Whilst one group made their pictures based around the exhibition the other group explored the sculptures created by F.E MC William himself. They got the opportunity to look at his work and then chose some pieces to draw. The artist was so impressed by some of our drawing he wants to send photos of them to F.E MC Williams daughter. Before going to the park we had lunch in the gallery. We were very lucky with the weather and with a towel in hand to dry the slides we had great fun playing with our friends in the park. Everyone had a lovely morning out. Many thanks to Danielle Kerr for inviting us down to this project and to all the team in F.E MC William art gallery who made us so welcome.
