This month we were very lucky to experience our first trip out as Primary 1’s. We boarded the bus with P.2 and headed to Newry, to The Imaginarium. There we had the opportunity to escape into a world of imagination, looking out for the fairies and trolls. Some of us boarded the space ship to the moon and others enjoyed climbing into the many tree houses. Underground we travelled by tunnel to take us to the witches house. Mrs. Gribben was afraid we would waken the troll.
After exploring our imaginary worlds we put our creative side to good use and made some creations using clay. The clay was a bit tricky to use but we found a way of bringing our ideas to life with lots of ghosts, monsters and pumpkins being made.
Together, with Primary 2 we enjoyed listening to stories and sang some rhymes after our lunch. We had one special song to sing before home to some of our staff who were celebrating their birthdays last week.
Everyone had a fun day out with all the staff complementing our wonderful children.
