P6/7 Boys reach Cumann na mBunscol Final

Today our boys team travelled to St. Joseph's Carnacaville in the Cumann na mBunscol 9 a side semi final. The boys got off to a great start with an early goal and they never looked back. Cathal McNeill kept our goals guarded and even ventured up the field to score a terrific goal himself. The defence stood tall and Ciar, Caolan, Niall and Fionn ensured Carnacaville had to work hard to identify any scoring opportunities as the boys put their bodies on the line with diving blocks and high intensity tackling. In midfield Patrick and Reuben covered every blade of grass and showed great leadership throughout the 40 minutes of football. Up front our forwards never stopped working, Lorcan and Eoin drove up and down the line, finding pin point passes and taking their own fine scores. Shay and Daniel used their pace to find the back of the net on numerous occasions. We are extremely proud of how these boys have represented our school in each game they have played. Their skill, execution, determination, attitude and impressive work ethic has been a pleasure to watch and great credit to their family and club.
