P6 Supporting Pupil Wellness Digital Zoom Session
P6 Supporting Pupil Wellness Digital Zoom Session - Tuesday 9th June @11am When we experience sudden or unsettling change as we all have recently, one thing that can help us cope is resilience. Resilience helps us deal with the emotions a new situation may cause, and helps us bounce back from difficulties we might encounter. Being resilient is an emotional skill and is something we can develop and build, both as children and as adults. During these times building and nurturing resilience is more important than ever. Mr O'Neill has been working alongside Cormac Venney ( HiPerformance Consultancy ) and we are delighted to offer our Primary 6 Pupils a 'Wellness Digital workshop,' hosted by Cormac. We are the first school in NI to pilot this and know our children will greatly benefit from: • learning how to alleviate irrational anxieties • developing a sense of purpose and structure during lockdown • understanding the power of taking control of the controllables and reducing anxiety levels. The Zoom Link will be posted on Google Classroom, P6 Pupil Learning Section of School website on Tuesday @10:30. A worksheet will be uploaded to GC/Homelearning Area on School website to complete before the Zoom Session. Children will need this completed sheet and a second device to use Kahoot during the session.
