Our Spring Poetry Recital
On Thursday Primary one and three met for a collaborative lesson. This involved the primary one children reciting a Spring poem they have been preparing with the aim of “expressing themselves with increasing clarity and confidence.” The primary three pupils were the listening audience and were given the opportunity to offer feedback to the children as well as presenting certificates for their efforts. What a thoroughly enjoyable experience this was! The children in P1 should be extremely proud of themselves and thank you to all the parents at home who helped them prepare so well. Thank you to Mrs. Mc Mahon and P3 for your attentive listening, company, mature and constructive comments. A joint play session is definitely deserved!
