Nursery to P3 - Monday March 8th 2021
We are delighted to welcome both Nursery and our P.1 - P.3 pupils back to school on Monday 8th March. Parents and children have worked really hard at home and that should make the return to school smooth and easy. Children are all looking forward to seeing their friends again. They will be returning to the same teacher and classroom assistant, to the same classroom and to the same group of friends and it will be a very happy reunion!
Please wear school uniform (unless it is your designated class PE days). Please bring a break-time snack and a packed lunch in a lunch box which can be cleaned daily. School dinners will be available daily for any children who wish to take dinner. The school will open at 8:30 am each morning. The school day begins at 9 am. The school day finishes at 1:45 pm on Monday - Friday. (Nursery parents you should have by now received an email regarding the NU arrangements).
DE/EA guidance does not permit us to offer Breakfast Club or ASC. Please remember to wear face coverings at home time and ensure social distancing at all times.
NU/P.1 to P.3 pupils will attend school on Monday 8th to Friday 12th and on Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th March. Our Saint Patrick’s day break takes place on 17th March only. We are back open again on both 18th and 19th of March.
Current guidance from the NI executive says that pupils in NU/P.1 - P.3 will resume Remote Learning on Monday 22nd March. This is, as ever, a fluid situation and might yet change.
There is currently no date from the N.I. Executive for children in P.4. - P.7 to return to school but we look forward to seeing them again as soon as is possible.
Best wishes and we will gladly accept your P45 forms as 'home schoolers' on Monday morning. Welcome back. Mr O'Neill
