Nursery enjoyed a pyjama day on Monday to mark the last week of their topic all about space. The children have enjoyed exploring about space, taking on the role of an astronaut, shooting rockets into space in the small world area and even building our own rockets with a range of construction equipment. Our shape focus this month has been naming and identifying semi-circle and star shapes. We also painted some wonderful paintings using neon colours and used bright coloured pens and highlighters to mark make.
The children enjoyed a short movie and story time on their P.J Day and everyone went home with their first book bag from the Big Bedtime Read. We are all very excited to take home a new pack of books every week, to share with our families at home.
