The children were so excited for their trip to Spruce Meadows and what a day it was! We got onto the bus with our packed lunch just after 9 and set off. We arrived at Spruce Meadows and were met by the farmer. He took us to have snack on the grass, we then had a turn on the barrel ride and had a bounce on the bouncy castle. We got to feed Trevor the Donkey, Bert and Ernie the Highland cows, Snowball the lamb, a Pygmy goat, a pig and some chickens. We got to meet the reptiles, geckos, bearded dragons, snakes, tortoise, Turpin and fish, some of us were brave enough to hold them. We got a ride on the tractor and trailer up over the fields before we had lunch. Then we got another ride on the barrels and bounce on the bouncy castle for being so good before we got back on the bus for home. What a fun day out.
