Letter To Parents - Mid Term Break
Dear Parents,
I am sure, like me, you have been waiting for updated guidance from the NI Executive regarding new restrictions due to Covid 19. I can now confirm that an extended half term break has been imposed and that the school will be closed from Monday 19th October until Friday 31st of October inclusive for all pupils. School will resume on Monday 2nd November.
Whilst it is technically a two week holiday we will be providing some fun seasonal activities on our learning portals (Google Classroom/SeeSaw/Mathletics/Study Ladder etc), (FS/KS1 will also get some hard copy material) and on the school website. These tasks will reinforce this half term's learning but are not compulsory by any means. Please feel free to enjoy the break if you choose! We hope to be in a position to host Halloween Dress Up Day for our children on Friday 5th November.
Finally, I would like to thank you all most sincerely for your support and co-operation during this first half term. We have managed to keep all our pupils safe and happy at St. Colman's and All Saints' and look forward to this continuing in November.
Best Wishes and go raibh maith agat.
