After describing all the exciting things Santa brought, the children in Primary 1 have been really busy continuing to learn their initial sounds, more high frequency words and even read books with full sentences. We are still exploring numbers to 10, how to make sets of a certain number and beginning to find the total when two numbers are added together. Life on the farm has proved to be an interesting topic this half term and the children have taught us many things that us adults didn’t know! We are so excited to use our brand new interactive panel, especially for dance and forming our letters correctly in team games. Play is always a huge part of our day and where the majority of our learning takes place.
