H.E. Kenyan Ambassador Michael Mubea to visit St. Colman's Primary School.
African Culture Week and Connecting Classrooms Partnership
His Excellency, The Kenyan Ambassador to Ireland, Michael Mubea is set to visit the children of St. Colman's Primary School on Monday 30th of March. The Ambassador is impressed with the British Council 'Connecting Classrooms' partnership between ourselves, St. Mary's Primary School (Dechomet), St. Paul's Primary School (Cabra) and the three Primary Schools in Mombasa, Kenya. He was delighted to see the recent exchange of letters between the schools and how the project aims to promote pupil health and well-being across the two continents and is in line with the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals.
His visit will coincide with St. Colman's Primary School hosting our first ever African Cultures Week in the school and will provide a great impetus for a wonderful week of learning in the Primary School.
