This week Primary 5 have been learning about fractions. We have had lots of fun designing fraction pizzas, playing fraction games and doing the newspaper fraction dance!!
We used a section of a newspaper, unfolded it and laid it flat to make our "dance floor.” Next, we folded it in half and danced on it again, next we made quarters, then eighths….we had to dance/move in very creative ways to stay on the newspaper.
We had a great time making the fractions and movin' and groovin' to some great tunes.
