ECO School’s Award

Congratulations to our Eco Schools Council led by Miss Lively who were awarded the prestigious Eco School’s Green Flag on Friday. Schools' assessor and retired Principal Paul Trainor was thoroughly impressed with the children and all the available evidence. Our child centred curriculum that focuses strongly on and gives opportunities for inclusion/prefects/monitors/councils/pupil voice etc is reaping the rewards. A lot of work has been done by you all in establishing citizenship and responsibility as an expected norm in our children here in St Colman's and All Saints'.

This is a wonderful achievement for our school and demonstrates our philosophy of caring for our environment. Thank you to our Eco Council, BOG, children, staff and Miss Lively for all their hard work in preparation for this award!
