During the month of March we learnt all about the Jungle. In the sand tray we had lots of different jungle animals. We learnt their names and a little bit about where they live. In the investigation area we were able to match the animal to the pattern on it's coat. Our role-play area turned into an animal hospital and Mrs. Gribben said we would make great vets one day.
Nursery were very excited when Mrs. Dale let us take slinky the snake up to our classroom. We got to watch her being fed and it even shed it's skin. Mrs. Dale told us all about Slinky and how to look after her. Some of us were even brave enough to hold her.
