Creating a news report to interview Howard Carter
Primary 5 have been writing their own news report scripts, to interview the archeologist Howard Carter, the man who discovered King Tutankhamun’s Tomb. Pupils conducted their own research, by exploring diary entries, and news paper clippings. They then planned and wrote their own TV News report scripts. Finally pupils worked in groups to cast their parts and record their news reports. Primary 5 really enjoyed using ICT and green screen to record their reports.
