Dear Parent,
Since March it has been a frustrating time for children, parents, schools and parishioners as we were unable to celebrate the Sacraments of Reconciliation (Confession), Eucharist (Holy Communion) and Confirmation with some of the younger members of our school. With a gradual opening up of public worship we can begin to move forward with new dates for our celebrations.
The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated in Annaclone on Tuesday 18th of August at 3pm.
Pupils from last years Primary 7 class will celebrate the Sacrament accompanied by their sponsor and parents (child + max of 3 adults).
Each child being confirmed needs to fill in their details on a Confirmation Card either using the google forms link https://forms.gle/cP6fMfS1759frsoX9 or by calling (ahead) into the school and collecting a hard copy. Please can all returns be completed before Monday August 10th.
To prepare for the ceremony we invite the children to a short practice on Monday 17th of August at 1000 in the chapel. Please note that events may change and the parish will respect any social distancing guidelines in place on this date. This year has stretched our normal experience of worship and preparation for the Sacraments like never before.
