Celebrating World Down Syndrome Day 2021
20th Mar 2021
On Friday our whole school community at home and in school celebrated ‘World Down Syndrome Day’ by wearing odd and brightly coloured socks. Each class participated in various activities such as designing their own odd socks, reading stories about children with Down Syndrome and learning about the condition. These activities have helped to raise awareness of what Down Syndrome is and how people with Down Syndrome play a vital role in our lives and community. We are very blessed to have children with Down Syndrome in our school and community, they are an inspiration to us, each and every day!
