Book Week NI starts Monday 14th October and we will be taking part!
Book Week NI is a joint initiative arising from the partnership between BBC Northern Ireland and Libraries NI and the event is now going into its fourth year. The focus this year is on inspiring people of all ages to discover or rediscover the joy of reading by pledging to read for 15 minutes during and preferably throughout the week. This could be a whole family event, with everyone reading together independently or perhaps a different adult or child reading their favourite children's story to each other in the comfort of your own living room. Switch off the TV, the Wi-Fi and make it THE big thing at home next week and most weeks going forward!
Reading record cards are going home so your children can all feel involved with this fantastic scheme ran by Libraries NI.
