Primary 5 have been working in partnership with the nursery children over the past few weeks to get prepared for the Big School’s Birdwatch. They made binoculars and paper plate birds at the art table. They used lard, bird seed, cheese and raisins to make bird food. Then yesterday we took our clip boards and quietly walked around the school noting down all of the birds we saw. We really enjoyed taking part in the Big School’s Birdwatch this year and were surprised at just how many birds we saw!
