Nursery and Primary 5 have been working collaboratively over the last few weeks getting ready for the big bird watch. They came together to make bird feeders using cheese, lard, bird seed and raisins. We also used our fine motor skills to thread cheerios on pipe cleaners, as a little extra treat for them, to hang around the school grounds. We decorate some birds and binoculars to celebrate the big bird watch 2025. Today we quietly moved around the school grounds watching for birds. The birds were fascinating to watch, the children loved it. We got to see House-sparrows, Blue tits, Chaffinch, Blackbirds, Robins and Magpies.
