Primary 1 have been learning all about bears. We have enjoyed sharing non-fiction texts together and listening to different audio and videos about bears. In groups we watched a live camera of bears in a conservation area. We couldn’t believe how good a bear is at catching fish from a river.
As part of our ICT topic, we made chatterpic’s to report some of the facts we remember. During play we used a range of natural materials to create a den for the bears and used loose parts to make a piece of transient art. We have really enjoyed exploring this topic and learning lots of facts.
