A good start to a new year in Primary 2!
Primary 2 have been working very hard since their return to school after Christmas. We enjoyed being able to tell our friends about our Christmas holidays and everyone got the chance to show and tell something they got for Christmas.
We have enjoyed returning to the playroom, exploring many different areas of play. The painting has been very popular.
On our first welly Wednesday we had snow. There was great excitement as we put on our suits and boots and watched the snow falling. The children had a great time exploring the snow, catching snow flakes on their tongue, making snow balls and exploring heavier and lighter with the scales outside. We then took a nature walk around school to look for birds.
During our bird topic we hope to take part in the big bird watch and look forward to making some bird food to put around school soon.
We are very excited about all the things we are going to learn this term!
