As part of our ongoing commitment to promote e-safety we invited the PSNI to deliver a workshop on online safety during ‘internet safety’ week. The presentation was informative and engaging and the children were given many useful tips on how to behave responsibly online using the ‘SMART’ rules and how to report something online if it makes them feel uncomfortable .
In addition, each class completed e-safety activities throughout the week. We will continue to revisit e-safety throughout the school year and encourage our children to ask questions and participate in an ongoing conversation about the benefits and dangers of the online world. This will ensure our children know how to stay safe online both within and outside of school.
